According to the Colombian star has emerged as a transfer target for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr following a season in which he played a key role in their Premier League triumph. Although Barcelona have also been linked with Diaz, sources suggest the Saudi club is preparing to push for his signature as part of their bid to strengthen ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Diaz still has two years left on the contract he signed when joining Liverpool from Porto in 2022. However, there has yet to be progress on a new agreement. Hence, the Reds might look to sell him off at the best price this summer, which would also help them fund an ambitious club record move for Wirtz.

The Ecuadorian midfielder recently capped off his season by scoring in Chelsea’s Europa Conference League victory in Wroclaw, and despite Al-Nassr’s interest, the Blues are reportedly keen to keep hold of the 22-year-old, who remains an important piece of their midfield plans.
